Enterprise Risk Management (ERM)
Every single day your organization will face both opportunities and risks, all staff, up from the CEO down to security guard and each and every one will make decisions, some for the better and some not….
If you would like for all your staff to behave in consistent and repeatable way when dealing with opportunity and risk, a way that that can meet stakeholder requirements, a way that is in harmony with the company goals, objectives, strategy and values…that’s when you need an ERM system!
Crisis Management (CM)
Sooner or later adverse situations will cross the path of your organization, Murphy lures around the corner.
Whenever your organization faces a crisis that threatens your intangible assets or a disaster that might affect some of your key resources,
you will wish that you have an effective Crisis Management system in place. Then you would know how to deal with the immediate emergency situation,
communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders, you might even find a way to turn the negative situation around in a positive one.
Business Continuity Management (BCM)
A technical failure, mother nature having a bad day, a deliberate malicious act,…..plenty ways to bring your production to its knees.
In these situations, you wish you had a business continuity management system in place, because you would not only know how to bring production back up again within acceptable timeframes, but you would also know the priorities and actions to keep your customers informed.
Resilience Management (RM)
Organizations having two or more independent management systems in place (such as ERM, CM, BCM,…) may find themselves with quite some overhead, overlapping activities and inconsistent information. That’s when a resilience management system comes in handy. Break down the silo’s, consider a balanced approach of prevention, response and recovery and become a more agile and leaner organization.
At Musena consulting we will gladly help you with one or more of the previous management systems or components parts thereof.
Our preferred approach is to use the respective ISO standards of the mentioned management systems,
but we will most certainly consider another standard or best practice should that be more suitable to your context.
Classroom based training
We are keen to share our knowledge, experiences and insights that we gained over the years with you. Passionate that we are about Enterprise Risk Management, Crisis Management, Business Continuity Management and Resilience Management, we look at every way possible to help you become the future experts. Here are the formats that we currently support:
Classroom-based training
Some students just prefer the face-to-face, teacher-student setting and needs to be said that some topics just lend themselves better to be taught in a classroom setting, where the interactions between students and tutor can add value. Exchanging experiences and thoughts can provide those insights that one might miss in another format.
On-line training
When you are after gaining basic insights, where and when it suits you best then on-line training might be just what you need. Interactions, clear examples, gaming approach, self-tests and so many more features make this a very worthwhile experience.
Blended training
Mix the benefits of an on-line training and virtual one-to-one sessions with the tutor, discuss progress, look together at the exercises and discuss how the gained knowledge and experience can be implemented in real life.
In-house training
When you have in-house training facilities and a larger group of students to be trained then holding the courses in your environment just makes so much more sense. More cost-effective, no logistical nightmares to be solved. We are more than happy to become your guest
Coaching
There are times when you would feel far more comfortable, when you had an expert to join you in an important meeting, someone to exchange some thoughts and insights with. Someone to check and balance with, no need for a long term engagement, no need for extra hands, just plain advice and assurance. This is what we call coaching, currently we support following formats:
Virtual coaching
Sometimes all you need is an expert to discuss just that topic that you are not comfortable with, the one thing you would like a second opinion over. Someone who has stood in your shoes and lived these situations before.
Someone who might have made those mistakes so that you wish to avoid…if this is the case, then your virtual coach is just a call away.
In-house coaching
Sometimes a topic or a situation might be just too complex to discuss in the virtual world. That’s when you would like your coach next to you, looking at the same materials, looking at various issues, solving the complex problems. Other times you may want your coach with you when you discuss an important issue with your customer, supplier or stakeholder. This is what we understand by in-house coaching.
